This will be a very informal event and a way for your child to meet their teacher and see their classroom before school starts.
Informal Event: Monthly Melton Meet Up
Join us at Terrace Park immediately following the Open House for a chance to get to know other Melton families.
Catch up with old friends and make new friends before the first day of school.
Kindergarten Meet and Greet

Pastries with the PFA
Come by the library before school for a donut and a coffee. This is a time to meet each other and learn about how to get involved with the PFA.
PFA Meeting #1
Join us for the first of 4 meetings during the school year. The meeting will be held in the library after school. Virtual dial in information will be provided to all members who cannot attend in person. Children are welcome to come.
Cookie Dough Fundraiser Kickoff Day
Our cookie dough fundraiser is the biggest fundraiser of the year. Students sell cookie dough, food items, gifts and wrapping paper. The funds raised help pay for the art and PE programs.
Brochures and more information will be coming home so that kids can start selling starting September 3rd.

Harvest Festival
Join us for a fun filled evening of carnival games, pizza, face painting, candy, and bake sale.
Costumes are encouraged.

Holiday Breakfast
Join us for a holiday themed event filled with yummy breakfast favorites, holiday themed crafts and music. Take the opportunity to get a photo with Santa.
Holiday Shop
This year we will be partnering with Penguin Patch Holiday Shop to bring a pop-up holiday shop to Melton so that our children can shop for their loved ones in the safety of their school for inexpensive holiday gifts. Gift prices start at $0.25 and the majority of gifts are $5 and under. We hope the holiday shop is something children will look forward to each year and we are excited to bring it to our families at Melton.

Join us for a fun and educational night where Melton families share their diverse cultural backgrounds through food, crafts, and entertainment.

Admission is one (1) non-perishable food item per person to benefit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
Take photos with Santa and enjoy a performance by Melton Choir, Crafts & Fun!
Family Movie Night: Home Alone
Snacks, water, and candy will be available for purchase for $1 each.
Adults must accompany student(s) during the event. Please, no drop offs. Feel free to bring pillows and blankets. Use Multipurpose Room Entrance.
